Day 1 -

Karakol - Djety-Oguz.

Today you begin your tour from the picturesque town of Karakol. You will be collected and driven to famous DJETY-OGUZ, where mottled red cliffs and boulders are split to form the 'seven bulls' of the valley's name. You enter the forest road and drive along the river. The last bridge is your stop and you begin trekking. You pack your rucksack and hike along left riverbank toward the high five-thousand peaks. Short of the old broken bridge you turn to the left gorge. This route is in the forest and you cross twice a narrow stream of fresh water. At last you reach an end of the forest and going on your hiking on the plain valley toward the hill of 3km far-away. Upon the reach of this hill you set the tents on the meadow near the fresh water. Here you can find last trees. The altitude here is 2800m above the sea level.

  

Day 2 -

Telety pass.

5 hours
After breakfast you cross the small stream and start your climbing on the left slope of the mountains above. In three-four hours you reach the upper small valley before the pass TELETY (3800m). You have a lunch and go over the pass. On the summit you can see a highest ice-covered peak of this area - OGUZ-BASHI 5020m. Then you go down to the first good place for your tents near the fresh water and set your camp for overnight (altitude is 3300m). No trees, no bush - only alpine meadows.

  

Day 3 -

Karakol valley.

5 hours
Today you will reach the KARAKOL valley going down from the pass. At first you should keep the left side of stream and just before the junction with another small stream you cross to the right side. Then you see the first fir-trees and enter the forest. Zigzag down to the main valley you reach the KARAKOL river. Then your way is going down along the left riverbank. When you arrive to the old Alpine Camp near the waterfall you should set the tents for your last overnight in the mountains. Altitude here is 2300m above the sea level.

  

Day 4 -

Karakol.

 4 hours
Today the morning will be at leisure for your own exploration of the KARAKOL valley and wide river-bed. This afternoon you will descend along the river KARAKOL to the town. On the way you will cross the river once, you will see the old mudflow-bed and yurts of the nomad kyrgyz people. This descent reaches the good road and our car will bring you back to Karakol, where your tour finishes with plenty of breathtaking memories to take home. Accommodation in yurt in Yurt Camp Turkestan. Dinner.
