Day 1 -

Meeting at the airport. Transfer to the lake Issyk-Kul.

Meeting at the airport. Transfer to the lake Issyk-Kul. Visiting Burana tower (11C) en-route. Lunch en-route. Accommodation in hotel "Royal Beach" on the lake shore.

 

 

Day 2-

Transfer to the Korumdy village, hotel "Neptun".

Transfer to the Korumdy village, hotel "Neptun", on the lake shore. Excursion to the petroglyphsin Cholpon-Ata town. Then 2 hour sailing on the boat from Cholpon-Atatill "Aurora" hotel on the lake shore. Then Excursion to the Chon Ak-Suu valley. Accommodation in hotel "Neptun", on the lake shore.

 

 

Day 3 -

Transfer to Karakol town.

Transfer to Karakol town. Touring this serene town in the morning, being hosted by our guide. You visit the Orthodox Church, Oriental Bazaar, Chinese Mosque, Museum Of Arts, Przhevalsky (the great and famous explorer of Tien-Shan) Memorial etc. Lunch in Dungan family, where you will taste Dungan national cuisine. In the evening you will be shown folklore concert program. Accommodation in Yurt Camp Turkestan.

 

 

Day 4 -

Karakol - Djety-Oguz.

Full day trip in picturesque Djety Oguz valley, where red cliffs are split to formthe "Seven Bulls" with lunch. Transfer (by army-jeep 6WD) Karakol town-Dgety Oguz valleytill the junction with Western Telety valley. From this place you cansee the highest ice-covered peak of this area - "Oguz-Bashi" (5168m). Here you will see an eagle show.Then you go to Karakol. Accommodation in yurts (or guestrooms ) in Yurt Camp Turkestan.

 

 

Day 5 -

Karakol - Sirota.

Today you begin your tour from the picturesque town of Karakol, Transfer up the Karakol valley and along the fast raging Karakol river till Ayu-Tor meadow(25 km, 2,5-3 h). The mountains begin as low hills but soon becomesoaring, jagged sky-scrapers as the day draws on. You will climb up toan altitude of 2900m (1,5 h) to the forest oasis of SIROTA(meaning "orphan" thanks to it's location in the middle of a barren,rocky valley). Here you will find a little alpine log hut built bygroup of mountaineering enthusiasts several years ago. Sirota is one ofthe region's most arrestingly beautiful areas with its unique landscapeand spectacular views. From here you will be able to see theneighbouring valley with its corner peak Ayu-Tor. Your campsite tonightwill be on the banks of a little stream flowing down from Lake ALA-KULhigh above you. Surrounded by forest, this first night of camping is atime for quiet enjoyment of the silence of the mountains and theircrystal clear air and water.

 

 

Day 6 -

Ala-Kul Lake.

After breakfast you will continue your climb to the pearl of Karakol canyon - LAKE ALA-KUL.This lake is famous for its eerie, ever-changing colour and for beingsituated at an altitude of 3500m above sea level. Such a high altitudemeans that Ala-Kul is relatively barren and unable to support manyspecies of wildlife. Everybody finds the spectacle of this miracle ofnature absolutely unforgettable. If you just here for the first time,we guarantee that you will fall in love with Ala-Kul and itssurroundings. The color of the lake surface changes from greeny-blue toviolet every hour depending on weather conditions. Luch on the lakeshore. Ascent on the Ala-Kul pass (3860 m). The short, flat summitmakes a good vantage point for picking out Terskey Ala-Too's highest peaks: KARAKOL (5273m), DJIGIT and OGUZ-BASHI PEAKS.The ridge that these peaks creates runs across the horizon from west toeast. Descent to the gorge Keldeke. Camp tonight is pitched in one hourfrom the top of the pass.

 

 

Day 7 -

Altyn-Arashan.

After breakfast you will descend to the valley of ALTYN-ARASHAN. The resort at Altyn-Arashan is famous for its HOT SULPHUR SPRINGS. Your evening is at leisure for taking bath in this lovely spot. Overnight in camp.

 

 

Day 8 -

Altyn-Arashan - Karakol.

Today the morning will be at leisure for your own exploration of Altyn-Arashan and for a second visit to the mud baths. This afternoon transfer from Arashan back to Karakol. Accommodation in yurt in Yurt Camp Turkestan. Dinner.

 

 

Day 9 -

Transfer Karakol town- Son Kul lake.

Transfer Karakol town- Son Kul lake (3016 m above sea level) by the southern side of the lake Issyk-Kul. Lunch en-route. Accommodation in yurt camp on Son-Kul lake shore.

 

 

Day 10 -

Horseback trip in the surroundings of the lake.

Horsebacktrip in the surroundings of the lake. Lunch. Visit to the shepherds .Here you will see how they bake a bread, milk mares. You will tastemare's milk, kymyz, hot bread (right from the clay oven) with freshbutter and cream. Accommodation in yurt camp on Son-Kul lake shore.

 

 

Day 11 -

Transfer Son-Kul lake - Bishkek.

Transfer Son-Kul lake - Bishkek. Accommodation in hotel.
