| Day 1 - | Arrival to Bishkek. |
Accommodation in hotel. City tour in Bishkek hosted by our guide. Highlights include the ORTHODOX CHURCH, ORIENTAL BAZAAR, NATIONAL SQUARE, MUSEUM OF ARTS etc.
| Day 2 - | Transfer Bishkek-Son-Kul lake (345 km). |
Son-Kul lake is the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan. The total areaof the lake is 275 sq. km., it is 15m. deep, and it is situated 3016 m.above sea-level. In winter the lake is covered with thick (1,5m.) ice.The lake is a favorite place for wild geese, ducks and sea-gulls.On the way visiting Burana tower. It was built in the 11 th century andwas originally 45m. tall. Accommodation in Yurt Camp on the lake shore.
| Day 3 - | Transfer to Tash-Rabat (260 km). |
A stone fortress, Tash-Rabatis situated more than 3000 m. above sea-level. This fortress is knownas the caravansary of the XV century, (a medieval inn for merchants andtravelers on the Great Silk Road) and it was recently dated by the Xcentury due to the archaeological and architectural research of thelast years. Accommodation in yurts.
| Day 4 - | Transfer to Issyk-Kul lake. |
Accommodation in guest house Tamga.
| Day 5 - | Transfer to Karakol town. |
En-route visiting Djety-Oguz valley with its famous red rock formations. Accommodation in Yurt Camp Turkestan.
| Day 6 - | One-day excursion to resort Ak-Suu. |
One-day excursion to resort Ak-Suu and Ak-Suu valley. Transfer back to Karakol. Accommodation in Yurt Camp Turkestan.
| Day 7 - | City tour in Karakol. |
City tour in Karakol, visiting Russian Orthodox Church, Dungan Muslim Mosque, Oriental Bazzar and Prjevalski memorial complex. Accommodation in Yurt Camp Turkestan. After dinner folklore concert.
| Day 8 - | Transfer Karakol - Almaty. |
Transfer Karakol - Almaty via Charyn canyon and Tamerlan stones. Accommodation in Otrar hotel.
| Day 10 - | Sightseeing tour Almaty. |
Todayyou have a sightseeing tour, hosted by our guide (Highlights includethe ZENKOV CHURCH, ORIENTAL BAZAAR, NATIONAL SQUARE, HISTORICAL MUSEUM,MUSEUM OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS etc.).
