Day 1 -

Arrival to Bishkek.

City tour includes highlights: Historical Museum, National Square, Oriental Bazaar etc. Accommodation in Guest House. Dinner.

 

 

Day 2 -

National park Ala-Archa.

Excursion to National park Ala-Archa. Walking around. Back to Bishkek. Accommodation in Guest House.

 

 

Day 3 -

Transfer to Karakol.

Transfer to Karakol via northern side of the Issyk-Kul lake. En-route visiting Burana Tower and petroglyphs in Cholpon-Ata. Accommodation in Yurt Camp Turkestan in central Karakol.

 

 

Day 4 -

City-tour in Karakol.

After breakfast city-tour in Karakol. Highlights include the ORTHODOX HOLY TRINITY CHURCH, CHINESE MOSQUE and PRZHEVALSKY MEMORIAL (erected in honour of one of the Tien-Shan's greatest explorers). Then after lunch your adventure brings you to spectacular DJETY-OGUZ,the famous 'Valley of Seven Bulls'. After a leisure to admire theglowing red, sandy cliffs you will be driven back to Karakol andovernight in Turkestan Yurt Camp.

 

 

Day 5 -

Altyn-Arashan valley.

One-day excursion to Altyn-Arashan valley. Walking around, takingbathes with hot springs, optional horse riding. Back to Karakol.Overnight in Turkestan Yurt Camp.

 

 

Day 6 -

Drive to Son-Kul lake.

Drive to Son-Kul lake. Son-Kul is the second largest mountain lake in Kyrgyzstan. Accommodation in yurt camp.

 

 

Day 7 -

Bird watching.

Excursionaround Son-Kul lake, bird watching. The total area of the lake is 275sq. km., it is 15m. deep, and it is situated 3016 m. above sea-level.In winter the lake is covered with thick (1,5m.) ice. The lake is afavorite place for wild geese, ducks and sea-gulls. Optional horseriding. Accommodation in yurt camp.

 

 

Day 8 -

Drive to Chichkan valley.

Theslopes of the gorges are covered with rich vegetation: blue tien-shanfur-tree, mountain ash, barberry and even wild grape. Accommodation inyurts or guest rooms.

 

 

Day 9 -

Drive to Arslan-Bob wall-nut forests.

Arslan-Bobis a surviving wild wall-nut forest, originated from ancient times, aunique natural park, famous all over the world. Accommodation intourist base.

 

 

Day 10 -

Trip to mountain waterfalls.

Thebig waterfall with the height of 80 meters is located 6 km fromArslan-Bob village. The smaller waterfall, the place where the pilgrimsused to come, is located on the upper ridge of the village on the levelof 1200m. Accommodation in tourist base.

 

 

Day 11 -

Transfer to Osh.

Transfer to Osh, en-route visiting Uzgen Minaret (XI-XII C). Accommodation in Guest House.

 

 

Day 12 -

City tour in Osh.

City tour in Osh, oriental bazaar, Suleiman-Too, Ravat Abdulakhan Mosque etc. Accommodation in Guest House.

 

 

Day 13 -

Flight to Bishkek.

Accommodation in Guest House.

 

 

Day 14 -

Transfer to airport. Flight home.
