R143 – ex army equipment, radio approx 35x32x12cm plus similar sized battery. Bulkier and heavier than the Angara. Angara – one radio of 26x21x07cm plus car battery-sized battery. Both makes have a range of approx 300km. Only necessary for mountaineering expeditions. |
